I opened a terminal and ran dmesg while the mouse was still working. Any suggestions? Could not find XF86Config, but xorg.conf seems to have pretty much the same function. check over here
I definitely received a different network adapter. Also, when Puppy was installed, I had a direct connection to my cable modem. I'm going to try Xorg next, to see whether the mouse problem recurs with Puppy. Note that Windows doesn't have this problem. Having a problem installing a new program?

But as I said before, the router was installed in Windows after Linux was installed. The problem also occurs when running Linuxes that have been installed on the HDD. When I was running Puppy Linux, I used an alternate windowing system, something called Xvesa, instead of the Xorg server. have a peek at these guys When I got it (used) I thought that the button was broken, or somebody spilled something in it.
Join our community today! macabro22February 2nd, 2010, 12:56 AMMy eee pc touchpad left button also stopped working in karmic. So the install wasn't setup with the router, so I can't use the router in Linux. So, I will revert to Euphoria Linux 3.1 and continue working on this.
