As a workaround for the time being you can switch to an alternative program for generating the PostScript which is sent to the printer. Whenever my printer messes up, it's usually this. It is processing all the time, all until I cancel it. Almost all printing problems can be diagnosed from the error log, so it is the first place to look to start solving problems.
