My concern is the engine. Might need to look into that as well. However when i turn them off they dont go back to the "park" position. I dunno if i should just buy a new wiper motor, or maybe i need a relay, or a switch.

If you have adequately cleaned the contacts and adjusted the switches so they close firmly, and either the wipers or washer pump still dont work, your problem lies elsewhere. I don't find it to be a big deal at all, but the car collects dust rather fast, especially after being out in the rain so I'm forced to hand wash
The motor may be binding or too dirty. Dont forget, the inner switch "2" needs to make contact at the same time as well. You have to run the wiper motor and park it before you connect the output arm. Dissamble the motor and housing.
I got it all out, now I just have to test it to make sure it is broke before I buy a replacement. Turn it upside down as it is a handy place to keep all the nuts and screws you will remove. 2.
