I do check regularly, so I would be concerned if fluids are low (indicating a possible leak). In its attempt to suck in air, the engine produces vacuum. Good luck. The feature is called "Afterblow".

Most likely what happen is someone mixed 2 different kinds of coolant and it created a orange clay that clogs the radiator and the heater core. Sounds a lot like your antifreeze/coolant is low, ... It was inside the glove box, but that location can vary from car to car.

So I have the same problem of no heat when idling, but in addition to that, I have no AC either.
