Never worked the same. I took the bike out on a ride again today and could never get the fan to come on. However, if all other systems are proved to be operating, then the switch becomes the prime suspect... Apparently the fan wore a hole in the rad. Polaris Sportsman 500 Fan Switch if it doesn't now, replace the thermo switch. It will beep when there is an open path for the voltage to follow.

Sent from my C771 using Tapatalk 2 Are you talking about the fan breaker under the seat? so I figured it was the thermal sensor. The Test will be the water proof aspect of the fan, however a close inspection indicates a very sealed unit. this contact form I replaced that and the fan still won't come on.
So, rightly or wrongfully, I cut out the connectors and spliced the wires together using solder... Uni filter/ D2 moto adapter on a modded Predator intake tube. The water was coming from the left side near the plastic bottle that holds the coolant.
I'll fire her up tomorrow with enough time to get my order shipped out tomorrow just in case they don't have one in stock.
I tore apart my quad last night and tested everything. I shut it off within 5 seconds of that light appearing. Air box delete. Full flow set up, no T-stat.
It ran for 10 minutes after I shut it off and advice from the seller was to tap the radiator. Hope this helps you help me! I checked the electrical connection and it was tight but, still a bit "wet" from the spray I put on it yesterday.
